THIRD ORDER of MARY

The Third Order of Mary is the lay branch of the Marist Order (The Society of Mary): Mary of Nazareth, the first disciple of the Lord and Mother of the Church, is the heart of our identity as Marists. We believe that we have been called by a "gracious choice" into the family of Mary. It is her work that we do and so we commit ourselves to think, judge, feel and act as she did. These qualities mark us as Marists: mercy and compassion, availability, welcome and hospitality….we are called to be humble and hidden and unknown in the world.

Our meetings are held at noon each first Sunday of the month in the vestibule of Sacred Heart. At our hour-long gatherings we pray the Rosary and other Marian prayers and have a brief spiritual reading. You are welcome to attend and see if Mary is calling you!
